Kayleigh B. Shankle

Co-Founder. President.

Diagnosed with a Grade II Astrocytoma of the left temporal lobe in September of 2016, my life was quickly turned upside down. After losing my scholarship playing volleyball due to symptoms of my undiagnosed brain tumor, I transferred college. Shortly after beginning classes at my new university, I experienced a grand mal seizure in class. Once the regional hospital conducted my MRI, they had me rushed to the University of Kentucky where I needed a craniotomy.

In 2018, with some growth of the remnants, I underwent radiation and chemotherapy concurrently.

Currently I live in Columbia, SC with my husband, Brandon, and my two dogs, Poncho and Magnolia.

My journey has led me to here. A place where I am ready to help increase awareness and make an effort to help as many others affected by brain cancer as possible.

Brandon Shankle

Co-Founder. Chairman.

Educated with a Masters in Business, Certified in Business Analytics by the prestigious Cornell University Dyson School of Economics and Management; with experience as a Chief Financial Officer, President, and other executive business positions; I seek to help my wife, Kayleigh follow her passion and compassion to give back and help others. From late nights or early mornings, holding her hair as it fell out into my hand as she hunched over the toilet a thousand times, to holding her hand during chemo, navigating traffic and organizing moves for appointments or new, better oncology care, I am dedicated to seeing Kayleigh's vision come to fruition. My goal is for us to help as many people going through this same or similar experience as possible.
